Mark Libertin, MD, FACOG


Dr. Libertin received his Bachelor of Science degree from Youngstown State University graduating summa cum laude and his medical degree from the Northeastern Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). He did his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, where he also served as chief resident. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He was previously the assistant residency program director at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and was an associate clinical instructor at Case Western Reserve University. He is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. He is also water birth certified.

Before coming to St. John Medical Center, Dr. Libertin was in private practice for over 20 years in the Beachwood/Lyndhurst area. He has been on the staff of several area hospitals including University Hospitals Case Medical Center.
